As MH operators and developers, we engaged Campground Consulting Group when acquiring two sister properties in Texas because it was one of our first projects combining RV and MH. CCG conducted a site visit and operational audit visiting both properties during the same visit. We have implemented many of their suggestions from their operational audit report (new websites, electrical upgrades at Breeze Lake, adding shade around the pool areas, etc.). We have worked with Campground Consulting Group (CCG) from the beginning developing an RV park and cabin resort on a 150-acre property with three lakes in southeastern NC. As experienced land developers, we have spent our lives developing tract homes, apartment complexes, and commercial office and retail spaces, but we had never built an RV resort. Before engaging CCG, we interviewed Jayne and several other consulting firms. She was clearly the most knowledgeable, experienced, and detail oriented during these interviews, but her fees were 2–3 times higher than the others. Woolpert hired CCG as subcontractors to provide their expertise on a county campground expansion project in North Carolina. The CCG team was tasked with examining the market and the financial phasing feasibility of the project keeping in mind budgetary restrictions set by the county. Their knowledge of the campground industry and campground development expertise allowed the design of a phasing plan that made sense for the construction while at the same time continuing to operate and serve guests at the campground during construction.
